I don't know why I'm so addicted to write lately but I'm just going to write.
I have known this one friend who went back Malaysia last easter and took a real good care of her mom. She received a bad news regarding her mom few days before easter break, a heartbreaking one. Her mom was diagnosed with lung diseases that her inflamed lungs cause her to have difficulty in breathing and had to go through an operation. In her case, it is chronic and a non 'undo'.
One thing I admire about her is her calmness, perseverance and patience which are all the attitudes that I am still lacking at.
When she told me about her mom, she wasn't crying although deep down she must be holding to it tightly not letting the tears to burst in front of me. Her eyes show a strong character and she was not giving up her smile despite all the sad stories she told me. She was attacking us non stop with her 'hambar' jokes when we gathered last night. I wonder how one can make someone else laugh with a broken heart -this is really unacceptable.
I have been working with her few times in the past; indeed she had my respect in terms of her emotional intelligence.
If the same news hit me, probably I wouldn't stay that strong and maybe not even be here. May Allah ease her hardship and reward her accordingly. And for her mom to stay healthy as long as He allow:)
