Recently I have been involved in two "adulting discourse". First policy making competition in Sheffield. Second a whatsapp call interview with Hong Leong.
The main lesson I learnt from this two experiences is public speaking skills. I have noticed how underperformed I was due to my lack of first-hand experience. I decided to improve this with few solutions:
1. Vlog : I did few vids before but for my own record. But I think uploading few can actually help with my confidence level, as if I was talking to many.
2. I need to ensure I practise in front of the mirror before the real event.
3. Okay let's tie yourself with one habit; ask at least one question during any discourse event.
During the interview call with Hong Leong, I think since they are looking for presentation skills (they mentioned this to me) the only way to pass the first session (second session: Skype, Hadira got into it) is to be good at explaining and presenting yourself -which is an obvious not my forte.
Here is my first step: (I wish this step will last long enough phew)
