My Dear Architecture PART 1

Bismillah.

Yep. I have made my mind.
Yep. I'm keen to continue my step on this path.
Yep. I will be an architect yeay.

After I received my SPM 2013 result back then,I decided to research on where to study what to be who I want to be known as how I am going to further my study will I be passionate w my career when will I be successful. And with few hints,I was leaded to architecture (oh kidding me just tell them you want this even since you were in form 4).

I thought all of those comments on archi student's life were a joint-together propaganda by alumnus to scare their juniors (like how I did to my junior,I told them Pure Maths was ridiculously harder than Addmaths while it is the truth,it is adaptable with your brain development from time to time).
Therefore,I signed up for architecture A Level at Mara Ketengah International College to test on their hypothesis. Ok archi life is struggling is null hypothesis while mine is alternative one.

After looking into test value and significance level of there is less struggle for 10%, I'm being serious of what I'm going to state next, test value is in the critical region, somehow not even close to the min (or neg max) value. Reject alternative hypothesis.

ARCHI LIFE IS URGH  THAT I WISH I WERE BEING DECENT ENOUGH TO TAKE THAT INTERVIEWER'S ADVICE AND RECONSIDER IT MANY TIMES

but it is fun.
Sometimes.

FIRST SEM.
For Architecture students of this instituition, we took 3 subjects that were Mathematics,Physics and Art and Design.
Like other unis, first sem is the period you learn the basic stuff. So first week of Art and Design class,we learnt graphite technique. From type of lines to shape structures. Second week we learnt watercolour. These two media are essential for any other media because they applied the similar technique. As if graphite linked to marker, drawing pen, colour pencil, soft pastel and etc, and acrylic, oil paint and airbrush are friends to watercolour. So if you want to surpass yourself in your artworks, brush up these two basics.

I was rather a diligent student on my first sem than any other sem that I seem to mess up my 3-more sem (Idk).

Graphite
For this drawing,at first I wasn't at any average confidence level as the other to paint my first ever realism painting. So I picked a single man with tattoo on face to feature in my painting at the first place. But my proposal was rejected by my lecturer, Sir Ali: a young-face man at his late 20s. I got rejected few times before the below idea was accepted. Frankly speaking,I could do better than what I expected (not the best tho). Oh I completed it within 2-3 weeks? (or one week?) that I barely had enough sleep. I attended the next last day of painting Physics class after few mins sleep and a mug of hot hazelnut Nescafe. (actually I had two mugs)
Watercolour
Second Sem.

The real hardship began.
We needed to complete two assessments of each 4 A2/A1 pages of preparation and 1 page for final.
And my real problem here was not the assessment.
I killed myself
Yeah. I killed my dream with my own hands. I started to stray away from my determine goal.
I failed to manage my time wisely. I failed to recognize my hopes and wishes.
I began to lose my passion in architecture.
I rebelled against my own decision.
I failed my AS.
Badly.
 Anyway,
Below were part of my assessments. Oh dear why did I choose murder as my topic case.
Two assessments parted as Coursework (where you get to choose your own subject matter be mindful as this can be the most tricky assessment as you might be lost in your own brainstorming. I lost pitifully) and Controlled Test (you are given few options to choose as your case). Most of us divided our preparatory pages to subject matter, artist, media and composition. But it can be in another ways (as you wish) as long as your WOW factor stand up the most that is it. Art and Design is tooooooo subjective to categorize it into any marking criteria. They end up depending on WOW factor.

Coursework subject matter study
Coursework: Composition ft Artist Study
Controlled Test: subject matter study
Controlled Test: composition
 See you in part II.
